Hummus 

This is a super easy, budget-friendly snack

Serves 3

Ingredients

·       1 x large tin of chickpeas 400g (240g drained)

·       Half of the drained liquid from the tin

·       1 teaspoon of paprika

·       1 x teaspoon of garlic granules

·       1 x garlic clove

·       Pinch of salt and pepper

·       Juice of half a lemon (remove seeds)

Optional (1 x teaspoon of cumin and 2 x teaspoons of tahini)

Method

1.)   Add the ingredients above to a food processor, add water to get the consistency desired

2.)   Blend well

3.)   Remove and store for up to 3 days in the fridge

Serve with carrot sticks or spread on wholegrain bread, oat cakes, rice cakes as a snack
